"Autism and Problems with Studying" Awareness Campaign

The"Autism and Problems with Studying" awareness campaign began today in Dushanbe.

The event is being held with the support of the public organization "Herod" (an initiative of Parents of Children with Autism in the Republic of Tajikistan), in cooperation with the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia - Tajikistan, and is funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) within the “Good Governance Initiative Fund”, and "Elite" publishing house.

Autism experts, Marina Slepian and Lyubov Rubin Niyazova from the "Sulamot" center in Israel are leading the training.

The campaign includes intensive seminars and workshops with a practical focus, highlighting various aspects of care for children with autism and dyslexia, building an effective and inclusive educational environment and inclusion in school and pre-school education.

The seminars are designed for professionals who provide assistance to children with autism, inclusive-education professionals, parents of children with autism, teachers of ordinary and special schools, teachers of pre-school education, professionals working with children with autism, speech therapists, psychologists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists.
