A training for 10 civil society organisations based in Dushanbe and DRS
A training for 10 civil society organisations based in Dushanbe and DRS has been held from February 27 to March 2.
The training was organised by the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia - Tajikistan within the framework of the pilot phase of the project ‘Strengthening the capacity of Tajikistan's public organisations through new technologies and trainings’, funded by the Dutch Embassy in Kazakhstan.
Two representatives from each public organisation took part in the event. Trainings were conducted on topics of legislation related to public organisations, the relationship between the government and civil society organisations, fundraising, and grant writing.
The trainers at the events included Loik Nusratov PhD, an expert in jurisprudence and a senior research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Law at the Republic of Tajikistan’s Academy of Sciences; Dilshod Mulloev PhD, head of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Law at the Academy of Sciences, Darragh Fingleton, the Development, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager of EFCA-Tajikistan, and Ikrom Abdullaev, EFCA-Tajikistan’s capacity building manager.
At the end of the training, participants applied the theoretical knowledge they had learnt by writing and presenting their own projects to the rest of the group.
