Registered as a local organization in Tajikistan since 2009, Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia (EFCA) – Tajikistan is a medium-sized, local non-profit organization with a proven track record in running development programs on a wide range of issues through a mixed-method approach. Our unique and extensive experience in coordinating and cooperating with government at the national, regional, and local level in all parts of the country for program implementation purposes, allows us to run programs that are both relevant and viable in the context of Tajikistan.
We believe that it is particularly by activating the potential of rural civil society and its institutions that the most important and sustainable contributions are made to positive developments in areas ofclimate change and rural resilience, gender equality and women's empowerment, human rights and rule of law, countering violent extremism and peace building, civil society development and good governance and youth empowerment and education.
We have a proven track record in achieving the highest standard in providing development aid in collaboration with different stakeholders and partners and for numerous international donors such as the World Bank, IFC, the United Nations, DFID, as well as the governments of Denmark, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Finland, Germany, the United States and Tajikistan.
The Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia – Tajikistan is an independent, locally registered organization since 2009, though we continue to maintain close cooperation, both strategically as well as in numerous development efforts, with our founding partners in Kirgizstan, Kazakhstan, and the United States.
