2021-04-05 Compedium of project: Activating the Potential of CSOs as Actors and Partners in the Governance, Accountability and Implementation of Rural Development Projects
Within the framework of the project «Activating the Potential of CSOs as Actors and Partners in the Governance, Accountability and Implementation of Rural Development Projects», funded by European Union, Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia - Tajikistan (EFCA - Tajikistan) will conduct mobile trainings in Sughd and Khatlon regions, as well as DRS.
EFCA – Tajikistan through civil society organizations, it expands the possibilities of strengthening the potential of makhalla committees (hereinafter referred to as MK) to promote local initiatives, ensure wider representation in elected bodies, and improve the living standards of community residents. According to the project, in the second phase of the ongoing project, 10 CSOs from five districts of Sughd, Khatlon, Rasht group of districts, as well as cities and regions of republican subordination promote MK as an accountable platform for management, while ensuring sustainable joint development of rural areas through implementation of community-oriented, financially sustainable MK initiatives implemented in collaboration with local authorities, civil society institutions and others by interested parties.
Mobile trainings are organized for executives, financiers, members of the project team, representatives of MK as well as public authorities in order to increase the capacity of CSOs in the field of legal framework, registration and documentation, gender aspects of development, financial sustainability of MK, building capacity in cooperation with government structures, as well as the development of a strategic development plan for MK.
The trainers will be: Dilshod Mulloev - trainer, department head of the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, candidate of legal sciences, Jalilov Dilshod - Scientific Secretary, Institute of Economics and Demography of the Academy of Sciences of the Tatarstan Republic, as well as Koshif Ridzhabekov - Employee of the Aga Foundation Civil Society Program Khan - Tajikistan.
